Proton Wave - Red

MVP describes the Wave as a longer Inertia. Stable to understable with enough responsiveness to work across the power spectrum. Big arms get long gliding turnovers and hyzer flips out of it, average arms just extend their lines. Worth knowing that beginners often find it plays more overstable than the numbers suggest, since wide rim drivers need real speed to activate the turn.

Proton is the translucent premium option, the candy-colored one. It's the stiffest plastic in the family and the most durable, and that stiffness usually makes a mold fly slightly more overstable than the same disc in Neutron. Grip is the lowest of the premium blends on paper, though in practice most players don't notice much difference between Proton and Neutron. Good pick for hot weather since it holds its shape when everything else is softening up.
