Hex is a mesmerizingly straight midrange. At high arm speeds it'll show slightly understable lines from flat, but the 1 fade keeps it from flipping all the way over. At lower speeds there's enough turn to make shaping lines easy. Great in the woods.

Proton is the translucent premium option, the candy-colored one. It's the stiffest plastic in the family and the most durable, and that stiffness usually makes a mold fly slightly more overstable than the same disc in Neutron. Grip is the lowest of the premium blends on paper, though in practice most players don't notice much difference between Proton and Neutron. Good pick for hot weather since it holds its shape when everything else is softening up.
